Give the gift that’s said to bring the wearer a sense of calmness, clarity and wisdom. “How”? You ask stunned.
Just so happens that turquoise, December’s birthstone, has long, long, long, long, long, been sought after for having these spiritual attributes. By long, long… I mean long – since 6000 BC long! Not like from the 1970’s long. Anyway, ancient Egyptians walked like Egyptians through Turkey on their way to Europe to trade this blue-green, happy-inducing stone; hence the name turquoise, “route from Turkey”.
Many Native American tribes have also long, long…you get the drift… believed turquoise carries the spirits of the earth and sky bringing with them all that means. So valuable t
o the Ancient Anasazis these folks used turquoise like money.
