Getting To Know Your Salad Sign!

It seems the good folks at The Association of Dressings & Sauces had a little extra time and green stuff on their hands. And it's a good thing, too! Otherwise. How else would you, could you, possibly know what your own Salad Sign is - let alone (gasp) the Salad Signs of those nearest and dearest to your salad bowl.

Yes indeed. If you are a Drenched-In-Ranch-Mixer married to an Low-Fat-Italian-Topper and your offspring are miniature Bleu-Cheese-Dipping-Freaks, rest easier knowing that your very-different-salad-styles may simply be influenced by your very-different-zodiac-signs. And - whew - not by their unwitting desire to drive you crazy at the mere mention of butter lettuce.

So. What does your Salad Sign say about you and yours? Let's start with Gemini. Born May 21 thru June 20, Geminis like trying new things and aren't satisfied with any one flavor for long. When pressed to pick a favorite, these Twins will never choose just one!

The next time you dine with a Cancer the Crab, you'll likely be sharing the table with a classic Blue-Cheese-Dipper. Cancers (birthdays are June 21 thru July 22) order a side of Blue Cheese Dressing for dipping their already-dressed-salad. Hmmm...just guessing...anything within fork-stabbing-distance is fair game to the Dipper.

There's no such thing as an "untossed" salad for the Mixers in the crowd. Leos, Librans and Aquarians will toss, toss, toss until every-last-little-bit-of-dressing is evenly distributed over every-last-little-bit-of-salad! The differences between these Mixers are in their flavor choices. Aquarians, with birthdays between January 20 and February 18, believe you can't go wrong with a crowd-pleasing Ranch Dressing. Our Leo the Lion friends (July 23 thru August 22) are more adventuresome and split their time between Italian, Blue Cheese and French. You'd think the lettuce would wilt by the time Librans weigh their options among the myriad of flavors available. But. No. A nice Italian Dressing tends to win out with the group born from September 23 thru October 21. Given the choice, Pisceans (March 19 thru April 20) prefer Italian, too! Dressing, that is.

Virgo and Aries sun-sign peeps share some commonality. Both groups tend to be health-conscious and lean toward a Low-fat Vinaigrette or Italian Dressing. Aries, celebrating birthdays between March 21 and April 19, eat more salads than any other sign - grazing on greens up to 4 times per week! Virgos, August 23 to September 22, also prefer the ever-popular Ranch Dressing and tend to be Toppers - meaning they drizzle the dressing and eat from the top down, mixing very little along the way.

Scorpios and Taureans also love, love, love Ranch Dressing. But. For different reasons. Taureans, born April 20 thru May 20, just want to fit in a be team players. While Scorpios (October 23 thru November 21) love Ranch because of it's awesome Dipping capabilities!

Sagittarians stick out in the crowd for their rare love of French Dressing. Born between November 22 and December 21, these folks tend to be Toppers, too!

Last, but not at all least, Capricorns (December 22 thru January 19) love variety! Dine at a Capricorn's home and they're likely to have a salad dressing to suit each and every one of your tastes and styles - no matter what your Salad Sign.
